Certifications/Affiliations/Area of Specialty: Fear Free Certified and Certification in Public Health with emphasis in Infectious and Zoonotic diseases.

Personal Information: In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband (also a vet) and daughter, hiking, fly fishing, boating, and native gardening. Anything that gets us outdoors!

Pets: We have three energetic pooches. Our two girls are 7.5 years old – a Golden Retriever named Maya and a yellow Labrador Retriever named Gracie. We also
have a one-eyed rescue yellow Labrador named Patch who is 3.5 years old.

Special areas of interest: Special interests in biologic regenerative therapies (stem cell, PRP, etc.), internal medicine, infectious diseases, and diagnostic imaging. I chose to go into the veterinary field because: Since childhood, I’ve had a passion for animals, physiology, and biology. Veterinary medicine allows my passions to converge and gives me the opportunity to serve my clients and their beloved pets.

My philosophy on practicing veterinary medicine or working with patients it would be…Each patient and situation is unique, so I strongly believe in centering the practice of veterinary medicine around open communication with clients to create a path toward our shared goals.

My favorite part about being a veterinarian is…My favorite part about being a veterinarian is being able to promote the health and well-being of my patients while fostering the human-animal bond between them and their human caretakers.
